Course to obtain radio operator qualifications in the general aviation service. Completing the course allows you to take the state exam and gain entitlements. 4 hours of theoretical training and 10 hours of practical trainig. 

The course consists of a theoretical part and a practical part.

Theoretical part - 4 hours of classes

  1. knowledge of the general structure and operation principles of radiotelephony devices used in the mobile aviation service, knowledge of the general principles of using other devices most commonly used in the aviation radiocommunication service;
  2. knowledge of the basic principles of radiotelephony;
  3. knowledge of radiotelephony communication procedures in accordance with international regulations in force in aviation telecommunications;
  4. detailed knowledge of the regulations used in air communication, in particular parts of the safety of human life (procedures in Polish or English);

Practical part - 10 hours of classes

Training in the use and regulation of radiotelephony devices in the scope of 10 hours of exercises on simulators.

Graduates of the training may take a state examination at the Civil Aviation Office in order to obtain a radio operator's certificate in the general service.

Attention:

An exam for an airport station radiotelephony operator's certificate and a general radiotelephony operator's certificate may be taken by a person who is at least 15 years old;
To take the exam for an airport station radiotelephony operator's certificate and a general radiotelephony operator's certificate of a person under 18 years of age, a written consent of his parents or legal guardians is required.

The training is conducted in the same scope as for pilots of manned aircraft, therefore we invite candidates to obtain the authorization to pilot aircraft, gliders or helicopters. Classes are run by a licensed air traffic controller.
